Osteosarcoma (OSA) is the most common malignant bone tumor in dogs. It accounts for more than 80-90% of all primary bone tumors. It is characterized by a very aggressive course – it quickly infiltrates locally and gives early metastases, mainly to the lungs. It most often develops in the long bones of the limbs (around the epiphyses of the humerus, radius, femur and tibia), but can also occur in the flat bones and soft tissues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
