Through DNA analysis, it is possible to determine health predispositions, breed origin, and selected behavioral traits.  <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"461\" data-end=\"831\">In practice, this means that an owner can learn earlier about the potential risk of genetic diseases and appropriately adjust prevention and the cat&#8217;s lifestyle. Knowledge of breed origin, in turn, helps better understand its character, activity level, and environmental needs. Certain traits, such as attachment level, stress response, or activity, may have a genetic basis.
