The Catahoula Leopard Dog is a medium- to large-sized working dog with a strong, athletic build and a very distinctive coat, often marbled or spotted. It is intelligent, energetic, brave, and very hardworking. It is a striking but demanding breed—not a good choice for someone who simply wants an unusual-looking dog.
